  3. It’s nice to see your work again, Rita! I especially love “Adirondack View” and “Rolling Thunder”, but the former really stands out to me for its warm glow. You have a way of making winter seem welcoming instead of hostile… almost all of your winter pieces express a warmth, an invitation to enter the scene. “Winter Field” is beautiful, because it makes me think of that moment when the sun starts to linger in the sky a little longer and that first hope of spring is in the air… very nice work!

    1. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comments Pauline! Winter is actually one of my favorite seasons… I know its an unlikely favorite, but I see a lot of beauty in it. I am glad that that feeling is coming across in the paintings. ~Rita
