Summer’s End

Can it be true?  It was June just yesterday!  Well, it has been a beautiful summer in the Northeast.  Fall is going to be BUSY!  Lots of shows everywhere including two that Rita and I will both be participating in next month.  We will post more about it later but we will both be in the Landscapes for Landsakes fundraiser as well as in the TRASK fundraising event in the Canfeld Casino.  Hopefully I am not being premature since we haven’t submitted our pieces for the latter event yet ; ).  The little pastel below was accepted into the prestigious Connecticut Pastel Society’s annual national juried show “Renaissance in Pastel”.  It will be held at the Slater Memorial Museum in Norwich CT from October 7th through November 12th.  Hope you can make it!  In the meantime, enjoy these beautiful late summer days   — Eden

  1. A beautiful pastel painting. I love the colors and the closeness the house is to the trees and shore. One with nature.
