This is such a lovely choice of palette for a winter scene. The warmer tones in the distant trees and the color of the sky….delicious. Either oil pastels are great for snow, or you’re just veeery good at it. My guess is both 🙂

A truly lovely painting, Rita. I find the pockets of light intriguing, and I love the blending of the landscape features.
