The Color of Mood

One of the best ways to create mood is through color harmony and one of the best ways to establish color harmony is with a limited palette.  A restricted palette will force you to mix each new color with what is already in front of you.   The end result is that each color mixture in the painting will contain a little or a lot of the other two or three colors so they are automatically related to each other.  And it’s all about relativity, isn’t it?  My mood in the painting below was yellow-green.                      — Eden
