The Proof is in the Painting….

I saw it today. I swear I did. The ground. Brown dirt with old deteriorating leaves. Oh what a sight!  It’s happening! The snow is  melting. I grabbed my pastels and painted the view from my window. So just in case you don’t believe me, here it is….  the proof is in the painting.  ~Rita

    1. Thanks Marlene! Glad you like it. Oil pastels can really produce some interesting effects. I have been using them for the past 15 or so years and still find them exciting. Thanks for stopping by and commenting… its always appreciated. ~Rita

  2. Impressive and very inspiring! Beautiful piece of art! I am doing pastels rarely, too, love the look and everything, but I am not ok with the dust.

    1. Thanks Sylvia! Depends on how you define messy 🙂 and how you use them. I use my fingers to blend, so they do kind of get messy, but they clean up easily and are non toxic which I like. There is no dust like soft pastels which is also a benefit. Thanks for visiting and your kind comments. Good luck if you try them! ~Rita
